Parish Hall Hire – How To Make a Booking
St Peter’s church has a modern parish hall which is available for hire for private functions. Hall Details:
Our hall is 12m x 9m wide with wood block flooring and is suitable for a maximum capacity 190 persons. However, we recommend a maximum of 120 for comfort. There is a kitchen adjacent with a hatch to allow serving to the hall. There are ample work surfaces, an eight ring, gas-fired range cooker, fridge and hot water boiler available for inclusion in any hire but please mention that you will need this at time of booking.
Furniture Available: Approx 78 plastic folding chairs 25 children’s chairs 20 folding tables 10 children’s tables Lighting is provided by switchable fluorescent or down-lighters.
Hire rate 2023: £130 for 4 hours, which includes setting up and clearing away time and use of the kitchen. There is an additional £15 fee for each subsequent hour (or part thereof) required.
Parish Lounge: For smaller meetings we have a bright lounge for hire measuring 5m x 6m with carpeted floor. This room is suitable for approx 20 persons in a comfortable environment.
Furniture: 22 easy chairs 2 small tables Lighting is provided by dimmable down-lighters. Additionally, the room can be easily divided into two by means of a sliding partition.
For the disabled: There is wheelchair access to hall and lounge with a dedicated toilet and an induction loop is available in the hall.
Parking Facilities: There is a free, public car park immediately adjacent to St Peter’s Church with parking for up to thirty cars.
Additional Information: Our Parish Centre benefits from full central heating and Audio – Visual equipment is available – please ask to suit your requirements.
St Peter’s Church, London Colney is a wonderful venue for your meeting or party. There is car parking adjacent to the church and the delightful river setting provides a very attractive outside space to enjoy too.
