Are you a book lover looking for a friendly group to share your passion for reading? Then St Peter’s Book Club is just for you! Every first Monday of the month, from 7pm to 9pm, we gather in the Parish Centre lounge for an evening of great conversation, thought-provoking discussions, and, of course, plenty of tea and biscuits.
Our book club is a relaxed and welcoming space where we explore a wide range of books, from modern fiction to classic literature, biographies to thought-provoking non-fiction. Each month, we choose a new title together, ensuring there’s always something fresh and interesting to dive into.
What if you don’t always finish the book? No worries at all! While we love discussing the month’s read, our gatherings are just as much about community, connection, and friendly conversation. There’s no pressure—just a chance to share thoughts, listen to others, and enjoy an evening among fellow book enthusiasts.
We know that joining a new group can sometimes feel a little daunting, but you’ll find a warm and friendly welcome the moment you arrive. Whether you love deep literary discussions or simply enjoy hearing what others think, our book club is all about sharing stories, ideas, and laughter in a relaxed setting.

No booking is required
There’s no need to book—just turn up at St Peter’s Church, Riverside, and head to the lounge in the Parish Centre, right next to the church.
