Have You Ever Visited The Village Churchyard?

For almost 200 years the churchyard at St Peter’s has been an important part of our village community. An amazing acre and a quarter of green space provides a beautiful and peaceful place for loved ones who continue to remain amongst us as part of our village history. We are also privileged to care for seven War Graves of London Colney men who gave their lives fighting for the freedom we all enjoy today.

But now your help is needed to ensure that we can continue to honour them by keeping our churchyard regularly maintained and tidy, providing a welcoming place for families visiting and recalling cherished memories

Your support of such a small pledge will make you feel proud to be associated with a place that continues to be so important in the life of this village community.

How will the fund be utilised?

 The money will be used to maintain the village churchyard and ensure that families will have a beautiful and welcoming area to visit the graves of their loved ones.

Who will monitor the scheme?

 The scheme will be monitored by Revd Patricia Jones and the PCC (Parochial Church Council).

Can anyone donate to the fund?

 Yes – you do not have to be a member of any church – you just have to want to help.

Can I start or stop my Standing Order payment whenever I want to?

 Yes – it is completely within your control.

Will the money solely be used for the churchyard?

 Yes.
