St Peter’s Crosskeys Fellowship Group welcomes absolutely everyone!
Meeting regularly at 2pm on the first Thursday of each month, Crosskeys is one of our most popular events.
Each month there is an invited speaker or activity to join in with – both covering a wide range of interests – all of which prove highly entertaining, beneficial and informative. Refreshments are always available, as is good fun, a real sense of sharing together and an awful lot of laughter…..!
Sometimes, wanting to join a group for the first time can feel really daunting and intimidating – that’s only natural – but Crosskeys really is an easy group to be welcomed into. If you’d like to make contact by phone first, why not give our volunteer, Jo, a call before you come? You can speak to her on 01727 568552 if you’d like to ‘break the ice‘ first. Jo is always so pleased to hear from anyone thinking about coming along to any of St Peter’s events and is very happy to chat about what to expect, who you will meet (including herself) and – if she is able – even meet you a few minutes beforehand so that you don’t have to walk in by yourself.
We all feel in need of company and interest outside our homes from time to time and Crosskeys is a great way to meet new people in an informal and enjoyable way. There’s no need to book or let anyone you’re coming along, you just turn up and say hello. Most people there will be local and you’ll quickly discover that getting to know everyone is just like meeting old friends.
