Rosie Rawlinson, BA
Lay ReaderRosie has been a member of St Peter’s congregation since 1998 and was licensed as a reader in 2005. She preaches regularly and is responsible for children’s and family work in the parish. Rosie is licensed to lead Communion by Extension services and has served on the Diocesan Reader committee. In addition, she is involved on an ad hoc basis with vocations and selection events. Rosie’s day job is as a part-time Practice Manager in a busy GP’s surgery.
Over the years St Peter’s has supported several vocations to the priesthood and welcomed Ordinands in training on placement. We feel that it is important for us to look for signs of calling in members of our congregation and to play an active role in the nurturing of vocations and Rosie fulfills this role admirably.
